Treeno’s on-premise deployment option, the Treeno Document Server Software, is installed on your Windows server, and can be purchased or subscribed to as a service.
Treeno Document Server is Treeno’s core electronic document management software that is installed on your server. It is scalable and can be installed to run in a multi-tiered environment, support 1000’s of users, and store billions of documents. Treeno Document Server supports an on-demand mechanism for adding capacity, additional users, and features.
Treeno Document Management Cloud, also known as Treeno Document Management SaaS (Software-as-a-Service), is a subscription to Treeno Document Management Server Software plus the following enterprise modules: versioning, redaction, and workflow automation. Treeno Cloud is an on-demand application that can be implemented rapidly, eliminating the infrastructure and initial investment that traditional on-premise applications typically require. Treeno maintains all backups and upgrades. Treeno Cloud is used by some of the largest businesses in the world, including banks and financial services companies.
All major components of the Treeno Document Management Server Software can be deployed in a multi-tier configuration, allowing the web server, database, storage, portal, capture, and image processing components to reside on separate servers or on a single physical server. There are many configuration examples, but a larger deployment may have multiple web servers, use an existing database cluster, and connect to a SAN for image storage. Other items such as the portal, capture, and image processing components could be combined onto a single server. Treeno Document Management Server can also be deployed using virtualization technology such as VMWare.
